Lupin III: Goodbye Partner TV special airs on January 25, 2019. The upcoming special features Lupin in a black jacket. The story is about Jigen going after Lupin’s life, which causes Goemon to be enraged & cannot forgive a friend’s betrayal.

There’s something very upsetting to me about seeing Lupin in green-tinted black.  And Jigen in…Lupin’s Green Jacket outfit from the first series?  And Goemon’s wearing red with glasses??  I’m already having an identity crisis and haven’t even seen this.

Like, I know I wanted more black-suit Lupin, but that was very distinctly with a red shirt and a black tie. Not this…garbled black-blue-green-pink nonsense where they kept all the other colors of his outfit, just changed his jacket and pants. *grinds color theory teeth*
